What's included when I build your shed
Before you add a single option, here's what's already in the price. Ask the other guy for his list.
50-Year Exterior Panels
Engineered LP SmartSide with waxes, resins, and zinc borate. Resists moisture, rot, and termites for decades.
↳ Competitors use OSB or T1-11 that starts rotting in 3–5 years
3/4" Moisture-Resistant Flooring
Advantech/DryMax resin-infused subfloor. Won't swell, buckle, or delaminate.
↳ Kit sheds use 1/2" plywood that warps in one season
Treated Floor Joists, 16" O.C.
30-year ground contact rated lumber, sized to the span, elevated on TuffBlock footings for airflow.

What your yard needs: I build in place, so I never need truck access, just a path I can walk 4×8 sheets down. Room for the shed plus about 3 ft to work on 3 sides, and a clear way back to the spot. If it's a long haul from where I park, there's a carry fee (75 to 150 ft +$150, 150 to 250 ft +$300).

Paint

Not regular paint. Sherwin-Williams' top-of-the-line exterior coating with Self-Cleaning Technology. Dirt washes off when it rains. UV protection prevents fading. Resists peeling and cracking through Midwest winters. Lifetime limited warranty. Your shed stays looking fresh for years with zero maintenance.
The panels need paint either way. LP's 50-year panel warranty calls for a finish coat within 180 days of the build. I paint it, or you do.
Without paint, your shed comes primed tan with white PVC trim.
Painted trim
Standard trim is white PVC that never needs paint. Want the corners, door and window trim in a color? Paintable trim, any color on the list.

Base price includes: 50-year wall panels (primed; LP's warranty needs them painted within 180 days, by me or by you), PVC trim that never needs paint, 3/4" moisture-resistant flooring, 2×6 treated floor joists 16" on center, architectural shingles, gable vents, a 4 ft double door (or a single, your call), full on-site construction, and tax. Carrying everything in from the truck is included up to 75 ft; farther than that is a small carry fee (75 to 150 ft +$150, 150 to 250 ft +$300), and stairs, a steep hill, or no gate get priced on the call.

A storage unit? $150/month. And you'll never own a thing.
Thinking about a plastic one? A resin shed this size runs about $2,150, and the makers say 10 to 15 years. Call it two of them over 25 years: $4,300 in plastic, plus the solid base you have to build for it, plus a weekend putting each one together. At the end of it you own nothing.
